  • The stone on which King Arthur is said to have beheaded Huail, the son of Caw.
  • The oldest building in town is Grade I listed Nantclwyd House in Castle Street which dates back to 1314
  • The Biddleton Arms Public House (image on left) is known as 'The Eyes of Ruthin' because of it numerous windows set into the roof.
  • The Old Courthouse bulit in the 14th Century with cells for prisoners in the basement and a vestige of the scaffold protruding from the eaves. The last hanging was in the 16th Centruey.
